Quotes that have Changed my Life
”The world is the Greatest book and time is the greatest teacher.’
I was so inspired from this quote which was written in urdu in Pakistan, year 1996. It was a time when i had to give up my education for family reasons, but at the time this really stood out to me and kept all my hope alive and I leant life without sitting in a classroom for many years that followed.’
‘Grow in Confidence’
This is another quote that inspired me because at times when i was very down and needing medical help, i compared people to plants and how we grow with love and care. The word grow, really stuck to me and ever since a tutor used this phrase in class, (i attended university for a few months before leaving due to health problems) it stayed with me, because i knew i really had to grow my confidence which i still some times lack.
‘You never enjoy the world aright, till the Sea itself floweth in your veins…'(from centuries of meditation)
This is part of a longer quote, at a time when i was feeling isolated and still do at times, to reconnect with the world and mother nature, i often remind myself of this quote because it is possessive in the sense that it directly addresses the person and brings you back from isolation. It really helps me connect with the mother nature and people who are part of my world.
These are just a few of many, i hope they help if someone is looking for inspiration.
